Toddler Celtic Cabled Cardi.

I finished knitting this cardigan today and am very pleased with the results.  I can't stop knitting for children!  Tiny knits are the best thing ever.

Double Leaf Lace Toddler Cardi

I found this yarn at a thrift shop for $4.50 and for a 60% Alpaca blend yarn, that's like hitting the jackpot.

I used a free basic cardi pattern and knit a lace insertion at the center back.  It turned out exactly how I'd hoped it would.

I later found a vintage cotton sheet at another thrift store and paid a dollar for it.  When I got home I found that it was a perfect compliment to the cardi, so I made the little sleeveless dress.  My sister and I are now anxiously awaiting for someone to have a baby girl to put this outfit on!

Just look what you can get out of $5.50!  Thrift shops forever!

50s Style Baby Pullover

I knit this little pullover using a free pattern and gorgeous one dollar yarn that I found at a thrift shop.  It doesn't get better than that.

The buttons are unfinished wood and I found those at a dollar store.

Details of this project can be found on my Ravelry Page.

This sweater was meant to be given as a gift, but the newborn baby is a chunky monkey and will need a bigger size.

A Crop Of Newborn Baby Beanies

I had planned on knitting preemie hats to give to local hospital NICUs and after all the knitting, I realized they are all borderline too big for premature babies, so these are all for sale in my Etsy store.  Back to the drawing board and knitting way smaller hats!

Snowflake Mittens

I should probably stop knitting mittens but I can't help myself.

Briggs Mittens

They were knit with pure wool from Briggs and Little, which is the first wool mill established in Canada in 1916, and is one of the few woolen mills still operating in North America.

The mill is located in New Brunswick on the east coast and boy, would I ever love to do a tour of that place!

Violet Radiate Cardigan

I knit this swing cardigan for the upcoming warmer weather.

Free pattern and details can be found on my Ravelry account.

Cables & Lace Knit Cardi

I found this sweater while browsing patterns on Ravelry and wanted to knit it. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the pattern itself, so I decided to write my own pattern based on the existing design.  You can find my pattern by clicking this link:  Cables & Lace Cardi Pattern

Be warned that this is only the third pattern I have developed, and there may be some typos or mistakes in there.  I have done my best to avoid errors, I can't guarantee it's perfectly composed.

If you knit this sweater and find a mistake, please let me know by way of comment here, and I'll correct it.

I'm going to try and get better photos one of these days...

I knit an updated version of Baby Jane shoes which are apparently popular among moms these days.  They're in my Etsy shop.

Will someone please buy all my stuff?!?!

Mary Jane Baby Shoes

I'm still powering through this leftover blush pink cotton and still wishing I had a baby girl around to put inside of the finished items.

Alas, these go into my Etsy shop but have given me pleasure while I knit them.  Each stitch was knit with a good thought of the wee one who will one day be trying to kick them off.

Blush Newborn Baby Cardigan

I knit this wee baby cardigan because I am guilty of worrying about having insufficient yarn to knit a project, then end up having too much.

This was knit in 100% mercerized cotton and will be in my Etsy shop when I've knit a matching hat and booties or shoes, because I still have yarn left over for Pete's sake.

I really, really need a baby girl to play dress up with and rock and coo all over.

Little Country Girl Rag Doll

I made this doll and sewed her some new clothes to match the colour scheme of the room she sits in.  Yesterday, I knit her a little sweater vest to complete her ensemble.

Norah Gaughan Cabled Summer Sweater

I knit this adorable cabled cardigan and finished it last week.  It's pure cotton so I can wear it in warmer weather.

I'm in love with everything about it.  It's the second sweater I've knit using this pattern because.  Cables.

Details can be found on my Ravelry page.

Knit Shawlette

I knit this shawlette to replace one that a staff member of a department store walked away with.

I much preferred the pattern of the shawl that was taken from me, but the yarn used to knit this one is so much softer as it contains cashmere.

I'll knit the pattern of the original shawl when the store compensates me for the loss and I can find a nice yarn in brick red.

This photo shows the whole shawl, but the colour isn't showing up correctly. The actual colour is shown in the first photo.

More information and a link to the free pattern can be found on my Ravelry page

Meredith Lace Knit Baby Dress

I knit this lace edged baby dress for no other reason than I coveted it. I'm hanging it in my guest room for decorative purposes until a baby girl magically appears in my life to twirl around and look adorable in it.

The free pattern and other details are on my Ravelry page.

Please feel free to send me a baby girl.
