I recovered this lamp shade with sisal cord and spray painted the stand black today.




Here's the before:


I needed 100 feet of sisal cord and applied it with a glue gun.

    Oh my goodness - what a wonderful makeover. I just painted a brass lamp and I am very excited with the results. I am wishing it had a lamp shade to cover.!
